Ep. 6: Zorori becomes wizard's apprentice to steal magic rod and reverse town's transformation
Aired on March 7, 2004

6
An evil wizard transforms local residents into household objects, prompting Zorori to seek apprenticeship for pranks. After a week of hard labor, Zorori realizes the wizard never intended to teach magic, as power stems from a specific rod. Enraged, Zorori steals the rod and begins using magic himself. The wizard retrieves the rod and shrinks Zorori to crush him. However, the boars intervene, taking the rod to reverse all spells. This action reveals the wizard was actually a tanuki child in disguise. The incident concludes with the restoration of the town's inhabitants to their original forms. This narrative is based on book 3.
