Ep. 22: Yuichi dreams of Ayu's past while Nayuki remains isolated in her room.

While Akiko rests in intensive care, Nayuki retreats to her bedroom and refuses to leave. Yuichi enters through an unlocked door to speak with her, but she rejects his efforts. Later, Yuichi falls asleep and dreams of the events surrounding Ayu seven years ago. He ventures out into a snowstorm to reach the woods, where he eventually collapses. Makoto finds his unconscious body and kneels beside him. As she looks at him, a bright light suddenly illuminates the scene. This sequence reveals hidden truths from the past while Nayuki continues to isolate herself from the world due to her deep depression over Akiko's condition.
