Ep. 12: Nishikata's White Day Contest and Hamaguchi's Failed Confession

Nishikata remains distracted by Hamaguchi's words while walking home with Takagi. The following day, he prepares an elaborate White Day contest, but Takagi informs him she must attend a relative's wedding on March 13. On White Day, she texts that she may not return until the next day. In the classroom, Mina discovers a contest box after Takao and Kimura accidentally move it, leading her, Yukari, and Sanae to participate instead. During library duty, Kimura gives Nishikata a book Takagi had previously read. After school, Hamaguchi meets Hojo but fails to confess his feelings, disappointing her. Nishikata later realizes Takagi's honesty while reading the book and rushes out to find her. After a long chase, he tells her he simply wanted to see her, bringing her great joy.
