Hazumu Osaragi confesses his feelings to Yasuna Kamiizumi but receives a rejection. Devastated by the outcome, he travels to Mt. Kashima, a location overlooking the city where the narrative is set. While there, he is accidentally killed when an alien spacecraft crashes onto him. To correct this error, the alien entity brings Hazumu back to life. However, the resurrection process alters his physical form, changing his sex to female.
