Zed ignores Dumas's commands and chooses to attack the invading forces directly. Following the conclusion of the battle, Roya and Zed discover a mysterious girl located at the edge of the forest. This girl then requests that Zed lend her his strength. The events highlight Zed's independent decision-making during the conflict and introduce a new character who seeks assistance from him after the fighting has ceased.
