Kira and his companions receive authorization to depart the Archangel. After processing the initial shock of her father's passing, Flay chooses to join the Earth Alliance Forces. This decision prompts Sai Argyle, Kuzzey Buskirk, Miriallia Haw, and Tolle Koenig to follow suit and enlist as well. Kira remains on the Archangel to ensure the continued protection of his friends. Additionally, the Duel Gundam undergoes an upgrade, receiving an Assault Shroud modification to enhance its capabilities during this period of transition and conflict.
