Ep. 29: Archangel departs Orb for Alaska while Zala Team engages in battle

The Archangel, lacking Cagalli and Ledonir, exits Orb territory toward Alaska. The Zala Team intercepts and attacks the vessel. Kira neutralizes the Duel, Buster, and Blitz mechs with assistance from Mu and Tolle, who has become the second Skygrasper pilot. During the confrontation between Kira and Athrun, Nicol steps in to intervene. Tragically, Nicol positions himself in the path of Kira’s lethal strike, resulting in his injury. This sequence marks a critical shift in the conflict as the Archangel continues its journey away from Orb under heavy fire from the opposing forces.
