GENESIS cripples Earth Alliance reinforcements and destroys the Ptolemaeus lunar base. The Three Ships Alliance intercepts a second nuclear wave targeting the PLANTs. Mu battles Rau in the ZGMF-X13A Providence while Kira and Athrun engage the Forbidden, Raider, and Calamity. Earth Forces' final assault fails. On the Dominion, Muruta orders fire on the Archangel after it stops to rescue a wounded Mu. Flay tries to warn the ship, leading Muruta to assault her. Natarle intervenes, struggling for the weapon. She orders evacuation, gets shot, and locks the bridge. Muruta fires, but Mu dies shielding the Archangel. The Archangel retaliates, destroying the Dominion and killing Muruta and Natarle.
