After evading the Earth Federation fleet through Full Frontal's assistance, the Nahel Argama must establish a coalition with the Sleeves. Frontal discloses his hidden strategy regarding the Federation to uncover the next location of Laplace's Box. Banagher and Mineva are deeply disturbed by the harsh and indifferent future he portrays. At the same time, a solitary Federation patrol vessel nears the Nahel Argama. The crew faces a critical decision: eliminate the approaching ship or abandon their new alliance with the Sleeves. Torn between potential enemies and newfound allies, Banagher and his companions must determine their next move amidst this tense standoff.
