Duker's fleet launches another assault on the White Ark. During the ensuing conflict, Odelo destroys the bridge of the Lysithea. This action results in the deaths of both Duker and Renda. The destruction of the bridge effectively brings the battle to a close. The events mark a significant turning point in the confrontation between the opposing forces, ending the immediate combat through the elimination of key figures and the disabling of the Lysithea.
