The League Militaire fleet returns to space and encounters the Federation's fleet at Hiland. There, Uso reunites with his father, Hangelg, who is revealed to be the true Jinn Gehenam and leader of the League Militaire. Following this revelation, Uso, Odelo, and Tomache are officially recruited as Federation pilots. The combined League Militaire and Earth Federation fleet then learns about the Zanscare's Angel Halo, a large psycommu device capable of controlling thoughts and brain activity. This meeting marks a significant shift in alliances and introduces a new psychological threat to the ongoing conflict.
