Reccoa and Kai make an effort to flee from their prison cell. Quattro expresses doubt regarding the adequacy of Jaburo's light defenses. Meanwhile, Apolly discovers that a nuclear bomb has been planted on the base. Because there is no possible way to defuse the bomb, everyone scrambles to escape the base before it detonates.
