Garrod Ran accepts a mission to retrieve Tiffa Adill from The Vultures. He boards their vessel, The Freeden, and successfully extracts her. Observing her terror toward her employers, Garrod transports Tiffa to an abandoned Federation base. There, he encounters a GX-9900 Gundam X. A confrontation ensues with an unknown adversary. The Freeden subsequently returns, deploying two additional Gundams to reclaim Tiffa from Garrod's custody. This sequence of events highlights the immediate conflict between Garrod and the pursuing forces while establishing the presence of the advanced mobile suit within the deserted facility.
