Jamil then enlists the aid of his former Vultures comrades to devise a rescue plan. Jamil orders his crew to retreat and signals the GX to execute a plan. The Frost brothers withdraw, and upon the moon's appearance, it emits a microwave beam that strikes the lake. This causes a massive explosion, destroying both the lake and Zakoot's ship. The resulting vaporized water rises into the clouds, condenses, and eventually falls back to earth as rain.

Doza Bale's fleet engages the Freeden, leading to an underwater battle where Garrod and Wiz fight together. During the conflict, the white dolphin intervenes to save both Garrod and Wiz, ultimately destroying Doza Bale's fleet. Roybea also manages to join the fray and provide assistance during the intense confrontation.

Olba contacts Shagia for information while the brothers deliberate. Meanwhile, the submarine encounters The Freeden, which comes under attack by Orc forces and their mobile suits. Led by Tiffa, The Freeden holds out until Olba enters the battle in his Gundam. Garrod is captured by the Ashtaron's massive scissor-claws but becomes helpless when all mobile suits mysteriously lose power. On the bridge of The Freeden, Tiffa introduces herself to Jamil as Lucille Liliant.

Garrod entrusts control of the Gundam X Divider to Jamil, who leads the operation. Following the defeat of the Orc mobile suits and sufficient damage to the submarine, the Freeden pilots encounter a large, unknown force appearing on the horizon.
