After escaping the Ashtaron's influence, Garrod severely damages the Orc submarine, forcing it to retreat with Olba. Back on The Freeden, the crew discovers Tiffa has been possessed by a Newtype, identified as the mysterious woman from the Orc ship and Jamil Neate's former instructor. She recounts events from fifteen years ago, near the war's end. The team decides to help Jamil rescue her from her capsule aboard the Orc vessel. Garrod entrusts control of the Gundam X Divider to Jamil, who leads the operation. Following the defeat of the Orc mobile suits and sufficient damage to the submarine, the Freeden pilots encounter a large, unknown force appearing on the horizon.
