Ep. 1: Tanjiro visits Kyojuro's family before joining Tengen Uzui in Yoshiwara

Akaza encounters Muzan, disguised as a young boy, who expresses disappointment that Akaza failed to eliminate three Demon Slayers besides Kyojuro. Akaza vows to kill Tanjiro, who is visiting Kyojuro’s brother Senjuro and their alcoholic father, a former Flame Hashira. The father initially dismisses Tanjiro violently but recognizes his earrings as evidence of Sun Breathing lineage. Tanjiro headbutts him for disrespecting Kyojuro, knocking him unconscious. Senjuro later thanks Tanjiro for delivering his brother’s messages. Four months after Kyojuro's death, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke accompany Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui on a mission to infiltrate the Yoshiwara red-light district, where demons are rumored to reside.
