Ep. 2: Sawako receives kindness from classmates and Kazehaya reveals his puppy connection.

During a rainstorm, Sawako shelters a puppy with her umbrella and arrives at school soaked. Yoshida, Yano, and Kazehaya provide her with dry clothes and a towel. Kazehaya explains he was playing with the same puppy, which is why he is also wet, and decides to adopt it while promising Sawako future visits. The following day, the class undergoes a seat change. Because other students avoid sitting near Sawako, they draw numbers to assign seats. Kazehaya intervenes by moving his desk next to Sawako’s and swapping with the assigned student. Yoshida and Yano follow suit. Sawako meets Sanada Ryuu, who sits behind her. To express gratitude for their support, she gives them homemade cookies. Kurumizawa Ume makes a brief appearance in this episode.
