Ichijo Shin, having competed in the Prism King Cup for Edel Rose and experienced the life of a potential Prism Star, begins his first year at Kakyoin Academy's high school in the spring. At the same time, Koji, Hiro, and Kazuki from Over The Rainbow depart from Edel Rose to form a new agency. Following Hiro's assumption of the Prism King title, Norizuki Jin, the leader of Schwarz Rose, introduces PRISM.1, a competition intended to crown a new king outside the traditional Prism King selection.
