Lua is a candidate for a saintess role, gifted with the power to heal, but with a drawback—she can only heal others by taking their injuries onto herself. This ability leads to her being mocked as the "Fallen Saintess." Her best friend Arianne consistently defends her. When Commander Garrett, someone Lua admires, is critically injured in an attack, Lua heals him at great personal cost, nearly dying in the process. Upon regaining consciousness, she discovers that Arianne has received all the recognition for the act, revealing Arianne’s true nature. Heartbroken and directionless, Lua encounters the second prince, who presents her with an enticing proposition. She begins a new path as a villainess.
