A Euoplocephalus is activated in a Japanese cave and befriends Amy, Zoe's new friend, during a field trip. Ursula, Zander, and Ed arrive, prompting Ursula to summon Spiny to defeat Amy. Paris intervenes and defeats Spiny. Zoe instructs Amy to release the Euoplocephalus, and Amy agrees to let it go. Instead of keeping the dinosaur, Amy takes a lizard home. The incident concludes with the Euoplocephalus freed and Amy choosing to keep a reptile as her pet. Ursula's attempt to use Spiny against Amy fails due to Paris's intervention, allowing Zoe to ensure the dinosaur's safety while Amy adjusts her expectations for the field trip outcome.
