Ursula, Zander, and Ed reach a Japanese mine and locate a Futabasaurus move card alongside Alpha Metal. The D-Team confronts them, prompting Ursula to summon Spiny and Futabasaurus while Ed deploys Tank. Tank rebels, sustaining neck injuries, and washes up on a lake shore where Zoe and Ace discover it. In a subsequent battle, the Alpha Gang captures the creature and uses it against the D-Team. Zoe activates Nature's Blessing on Chomp, causing the Futabasaurus to recall past events, turn on the Alpha Gang, and join the D-Team.
