During a pursuit of a Saltasaurus in the Amazon Rain Forest, Max and Chomp become separated from the D-Team. Meanwhile, Ursula, Zander, and Ed return with a hungry Spiny to capture the dinosaur. The Alpha Gang encounters the wandering Saltasaurus and inadvertently releases the starving Spiny, creating a dangerous situation for the separated dinosaurs.
