In 1615, the D-Team tracks a bird-like figure to France. Sheer arrives and aids Queen Marie de' Medici in searching for the Eye of Gaia, which he suspects is the next Cosmos Stone. With support from Cardinal Richelieu and the Queen's guards, Sheer summons a Rajasaurus against the school. The D-Team arrives, prompting Max to armor Chomp to battle the dinosaur. Sheer also armors the Rajasaurus. Although Chomp defeats the creature, the nearby building is demolished. Mihasa and Cardinal Richelieu escape during the chaos. Lady Constance intervenes in a conflict between Max and d'Artagnan, allowing her to reach Princess Anne.
