Ep. 18: The D-Team enters a Persian cave to find the Red Cosmos Stone while facing Gavro and the Forty Thieves.

The D-Team and the Alpha Gang arrive in Ancient Persia, where Gavro uses his Afrovenator to access a secret cave. Max enters after guessing the password, where they meet Princess Zara, recently captured by the Forty Thieves, and an activated Isisaurus she calls a Genie. Dr. Z and the Alpha Gang are also present in the cave. The Alpha Gang attempt to steal treasure until Gavro returns and unleashes the Afrovenator. Ursula deploys Spiny, but its defeat triggers a slow cave-in. Rex summons Ace to battle the Afrovenator. Ace defeats the creature as the structure collapses. The Alpha Gang are captured by the Forty Thieves, while the D-Team, Isisaurus, and Zara escape into a sandstorm upon exiting the cave.
