With Valentine’s Day approaching, Maiko encourages Taichi to focus on Himeko while the group strives to retain Goto as an advisor by beating the Jazz Club in a presentation. Emotional revelations occur when Himeko’s affection and Iori’s rejection are shared, followed by Iori’s selfish thoughts exposing the group’s concerns, including Himeko’s harshness. Iori later admits Heartseed’s influence has clouded her judgment regarding her love for Taichi. Taichi discusses his feelings with Himeko, affirming his love for Iori. Yoshifumi hears Iori’s thoughts about others’ perceptions of her. Finally, Heartseed tells Yoshifumi he is useless, but Yoshifumi strengthens his resolve by thinking of Yui, who also hears his thoughts.
