Hikari experiences dreams that accelerate her awakening process. Mari intends to confess her feelings to Takeru but discovers him in the garage, moments away from kissing Hikari. Believing she has been betrayed, Mari accuses Hikari of breaking their friendship and slaps her. This physical contact causes Hikari to panic over unintentionally harming someone, triggering an internal shift. Immediately following this emotional turmoil, a new monster appears and attacks her, escalating the danger she faces.
