While walking home, Araragi encounters Yotsugi, who asks for his assistance in locating a specific object. The pair spends the entire day searching through the streets, but the purpose of their quest remains unclear to Araragi. Eventually, Tsubasa provides the necessary insight to help Araragi understand Yotsugi's true intentions behind the extensive search.
