Ep. 3: Yaeka apologizes to Miyuki while Kirishima meets Toichiro and adopts a stray kitten named Ohagi.

Yaeka visits Miyuki in the hospital to apologize for her absence and leaves a group photo with Kirishima to prevent loneliness. After they depart for food, Kazuhiko apologizes to Miyuki for his failures as a father. In the hospital shop, Kirishima encounters Toichiro Aoi, a former yakuza member who quit after becoming a parent. Toichiro’s six-year-old son, Koki, develops a crush on Yaeka, prompting her to reassure Toichiro that Kazuhiko holds no grudge, leading to a tearful promise to visit. Kanami finds the situation amusing, noting that Kirishima has unconsciously adopted Toichiro’s parenting style while caring for Yaeka. Upon returning home, Yaeka and Kirishima meet Hanada Ayumu, a runaway caring for a stray kitten. Yaeka adopts the cat, naming it Ohagi, to help Ayumu return home. Ohagi causes chaos by breaking a valuable antique, angering Kazuhiko until Yaeka intervenes, reminding him of Miyuki’s similar influence. Meanwhile, a dangerous man spying on Kirishima decides to interfere with his parental role.
