Ep. 12: Seirin and Touou meet at a hot spring before the Winter Cup begins

Following their victory over Kirisaki Daiichi, the Seirin team travels to a hot spring to recover. They encounter the Touou Academy team, who reveal they defeated Josei High by a score of 170–39 and will face Seirin in the first round of the Winter Cup. The next morning, Kagami disappears, but Riko remains calm and begins training immediately. Her father, Kagetora, commits to improving individual skills to prepare for the upcoming tournament. It is revealed that Kagami has returned to America for his own training regimen. With less than a month remaining until the Winter Cup, Seirin must determine if they can reach the level required to compete against their first opponent, Touou Academy.
