Ep. 18: Aomine and Kagami clash in the Zone as Seirin secures a dramatic one-point victory.

The intense duel between Aces Aomine and Kagami reaches its peak as both players operate at maximum speed within the Zone. Kagami drives past Aomine to cut the deficit to three points, but Aomine responds with a difficult shot. Kagami blocks the subsequent attempt as the Zone time expires, allowing Hyuga to narrow the gap to one point. Aomine scores again with a Formless Shot, leaving only fifteen seconds remaining. Kagami overcomes Aomine’s block by utilizing improved mid-air mobility and left-handed handling to pass to Kiyoshi, who draws a foul. Seirin intentionally misses the free throw to secure a rebound for a final play. Kuroko delivers an Ignite Pass, enabling Kagami to slam the ball home as time expires, winning the game 101–100. Aomine accepts his first loss and reconnects with Kuroko, while Touou’s third-years retire and Wakamatsu becomes captain.
