Himuro dominates with a fake and Mirage Shot, leaving Seirin down 20–35. Kagami is replaced by Tsuchida due to emotional issues. Kiyoshi scores a rare three-pointer after Izuki rebounds, prompting Seirin to use Kiyoshi as point guard to draw Murasakibara out. After a timeout where Kagami discards his ring, he blocks Himuro but fails to stop Murasakibara’s dunk. Kagami eventually grazes Himuro’s shot, realizing how to defend it. Despite missed attempts by Izuki and Kiyoshi, Kiyoshi secures a rebound over Murasakibara. Seirin closes the gap to 37–30. A 3-vs-1 play results in a putback dunk by Kagami, making it 37–35. Murasakibara then leaves defense to join Yosen’s offense, shocking Seirin.
