Ep. 16: Efy Dolgh fighters infiltrate Kurobe Dam while Sophie and Kennosuke debate freedom
Muetta and Mirasa of the Efy Dolgh arrive at Kurobe Dam. Ogino and his school group seek a filming location for a cosplay, with Marina accompanying them to cheer up after her resignation following the cultural festival attack. The UN prepares for Sophie’s departure to France and trials single-pilot GAUS units to combat enemy geoframes. Kennosuke and Sophie discuss freedom. Muetta and Mirasa enter the UN facility, capturing Kennosuke, who mistakes Muetta for Princess Yukihime, though she denies knowing him. They locate the excavation site containing the final hinge stone fragments. When UN troops confront them, Kennosuke defends Muetta, but Sophie calls him foolish and vows to remain. Mirasa stabs Muetta to claim sole credit for the discovery. Muetta then jumps from the dam wall into the rushing waters below.
