After High Consort Lihua recovers, Maomao resumes her daily duties within the palace of High Consort Gyokuyou. A terrified eunuch approaches her seeking a remedy for a curse. By analyzing the eunuch's account, Maomao correctly identifies the nature of the affliction and provides a specific ointment as treatment. Subsequently, Jinshi summons Maomao to request her assistance. Upon returning to Gyokuyou's residence, she finds her fellow staff members in high spirits as they make final preparations for an upcoming garden party.
