Ep. 23: Lucciola's Sacrifice to Save Dio Amidst Guild Conflict
A flashback shows Delphine introducing a young Dio to his servant, Lucciola. At the Guild stronghold, Delphine welcomes Dio as the new Maestro. The Silvana uses the Urbanus as a shield to enter Guild territory and recapture Exile, while Anatoray and Disith soldiers seize the Guild's Claudia units. During the battle on a battleship, Mullin is seriously wounded. Delphine learns of the uprising and recalls the units. Unable to watch Dio suffer, Lucciola urges Claus, Alvis, and Dio to escape while he provides cover. He gives Alvis a communication device for the Silvana before facing Delphine. Lucciola defeats her guards, including his brother, but is about to be killed when he recalls Dio accepting him as more than a servant in their childhood.
