Apr 8, 2003The battleship Silvana ambushes and destroys several Disith ships in the Grand Stream before withdrawing. In the frontier town of Norkia, 15-year-old pilot Claus Valca and navigator Lavie Head prepare their vanship for the Norkia Cup race. They accept a sky courier mission to deliver two letters to Duke David Mad-thane, an Anatoray navy officer. Mad-thane is leading a Guild-supervised battle against a Disith fleet at Minagith. His forces achieve an initial victory using musketeers but then engage in artillery combat. As Claus and Lavie arrive on the flagship Claimh Solais to deliver the correspondence, the Anatoray fleet faces a surprise attack from a new Disith force.

Apr 15, 2003Disith launches a surprise attack, destroying Anatoray ships and threatening Minagith. The Emperor orders an unknown asset relocated after learning Duke Mad-thane’s fleet is failing. Claus and Lavie struggle to deliver a message tube, realizing Holly’s second message remains undelivered. Mad-thane prepares for a final stand until Claus broadcasts Holly’s wish for her father’s safe return. Mullin Shetland protects the pair from soldiers. Inspired, Mad-thane orders a retreat. Claus and Lavie create a smoke screen with their vanship but are warned by a red vanship about being in the line of fire. The Silvana appears to fire on pursuing Disith forces, allowing the Anatoray fleet to escape. The Silvana and red vanship vanish. Claus and Lavie report the Duke’s safety and learn they must start at the last position in the Norkia Cup race due to missing the time attack.

Apr 22, 2003During the 75th Norkia Cup race, vanship courier Ralph Wednesday is pursued and wounded by star-shaped fighters. While Claus and Lavie challenge defending champion Hurricane Hawk for the lead, Ralph’s vanship crosses their path, causing a crash that forces Claus to abandon the race. Claus and Lavie locate the dying Ralph, who is tasked with delivering a girl named Al. They agree to take over his mission but are discovered by a fighter. Ralph acts as a decoy and detonates a bomb to allow them to escape. Claus and Lavie flee via the river, learning that Al must be transported to the Silvana for custody by Alex Row.

Apr 29, 2003Claus and Lavie return the unconscious Al to their home, where Claus devises an escape plan via underground water canals to evade detection by a star-shaped fighter. Lavie tries to dissuade him and mentions rumors regarding the mysterious Silvana. Upon waking, Al is kept unaware that her caretaker Guita died with Ralph on Wednesday. The fighter later locates their residence and destroys it. The trio escapes in a vanship through the canals, but Al eventually learns of Guita’s death. Near the canal's end, the fighter damages the vehicle, forcing an emergency landing in temple ruins outside Norkia. The fighter captures Al and prepares to kill Claus until a gunshot causes the machine to collapse.

May 6, 2003Alex Row transports the unconscious Al aboard the Silvana. Claus repairs his vanship using fuel from a downed fighter, despite Lavie's hesitation. With their damaged vanship unable to escape, Claus requests permission to join the battle using a spare fighter vanship.

Alex interrogates Dio, who claims the Mysterion visited House Eraclea and reveals Delphine purged three Guild houses holding Mysteria. Vincent Alzey, captain of the Urbanus, requests a meeting with Alex. Alex asks Claus to provide flight escort, drawing objections from Tatiana, though Alister volunteers as navigator. Alex informs Vincent he will defend Alvis’s presence on board. Meanwhile, Dio and Lucciola encounter Lescius, the Silvana’s chief engineer and former Guild member. Claus remains hopeful about the Silvana and tries to repair the engine, but it fails to generate sufficient power. Tatiana, grieving her best friend Alister, shares her background as a former noble academy student abandoned by the Anatoray government due to poverty. She deduces that Claus and Lavie are the children of the courier duo Hamilcar Valca and Georges Head, who attempted to deliver a peace proposal to Disith ten years prior. Claus eventually secures enough lift to glide across the desert toward a Silvana shelter. Upon arrival, Disith soldiers capture them. They escape when their guard rushes to check incoming migration capsules, only to discover that none of the civilian transports survived the journey.

Meanwhile, Mullin reflects on his past as a musketeer, and Alex prepares to strike the Guild, with Claus revealing the vanship's true owner to Lavie. Upon arriving in the capital, Sophia pleads for unity against Disith but is imprisoned in the tower by the Emperor. Marius visits her, citing his late daughter Euris and his plan to make her Empress. During a Disith surprise attack on the weakened capital, Marius assassinates the Emperor and dies. Vincent rescues Sophia from the Emperor's guards, bringing her to safety aboard the Urbanus.

Dio reunites with Claus and Alvis, but his personality has changed and he no longer recognizes them as friends.

Sep 9, 2003A flashback shows Delphine introducing a young Dio to his servant, Lucciola. At the Guild stronghold, Delphine welcomes Dio as the new Maestro. The Silvana uses the Urbanus as a shield to enter Guild territory and recapture Exile, while Anatoray and Disith soldiers seize the Guild's Claudia units. During the battle on a battleship, Mullin is seriously wounded. Delphine learns of the uprising and recalls the units. Unable to watch Dio suffer, Lucciola urges Claus, Alvis, and Dio to escape while he provides cover. He gives Alvis a communication device for the Silvana before facing Delphine. Lucciola defeats her guards, including his brother, but is about to be killed when he recalls Dio accepting him as more than a servant in their childhood.
EP 24Claus transports Alvis and Dio to safety as the alliance fleet defeats the Guild
Sep 16, 2003A section of the Guild fortress collapses into the Grand Stream, landing in Anatoray. Claus uses a vanship to evacuate Alvis and Dio to Norkia, where Dio is placed under the care of the Mad-thane residence, now serving as a temporary hospital. Claus and Alvis return to his damaged home for the night. Meanwhile, the joint Anatoray and Disith alliance fleet executes a surprise assault on the Guild fleet, securing victory with assistance from vanship squadrons. The allied forces pursue the retreating Guild ships into the Grand Stream. Claus and Alvis eventually reach Lavie and the Silvana using Lucciola's communicator and receive instructions to meet at the Dragon's Fangs.
