Kyousuke announces that the Little Busters will face a team of captains from other sports clubs in their first baseball game. While most members are excited, Riki and Rin remain indifferent. Masato notes the group has only eight members, but Kyousuke insists the final member will arrive. Riki, Rin, and Masato observe Kengo speaking with Miyuki Koshiki, a former archery club member who quit after losing an eye in an accident. Rumors about their relationship spread, though Miyuki clarifies she only sought advice. Later, Miyuki climbs to the roof edge, prompting Riki, Rin, and Masato to disobey orders and rush to stop her. During the rescue attempt, Miyuki slips and falls. Kengo saves her but breaks his left arm and faces suspension from the kendo club. Kengo then joins the Little Busters, eventually hitting a home run with one arm. Naoe suspects Kyousuke orchestrated these events, knowing Kengo would join all along.
