Kengo declines due to kendo tournament preparations. That night, Kyousuke sends Rin to recruit members from the girls' dormitory. Rin fails to recruit anyone and loses a fight against Sasami Sasasegawa and three softball team members. The next day, Riki searches for new members and follows a girl to the school roof.

The Tebwan embassy sends Kudryavka a plane ticket to check on her safety. Conflicted because she fled to Japan after dropping out of Tebwa's aviation school six months prior, Kudryavka initially decides to stay and discards her space-related items. Riki retrieves these belongings and returns them, telling her she can pursue her dream of space even if she does not become an astronaut. Moved by his support and her desire to see her mother, Kudryavka chooses to return to Tebwa. Before departing, she says goodbye to her friends.
23EP 23Kudryavka Captured by Rebels After Learning Her Mother Survived the Explosion
Mar 16, 2013Friends in Japan discover an uprising in Tebwa after a failed rocket launch. Kudryavka meets her hiding grandfather, who reveals her mother survived the explosion. Rin then locates Komari on the school roof, where Komari congratulates her. Komari explains that her star-shaped hair ornament is a wishing star, and since Rin has two, the second star will grant Rin’s wish.
