Riki experiences a narcoleptic episode triggered by unpleasant memories of his parents' death in a car accident as a child. Determined to conquer this weakness, he receives assistance from Rin. When Riki learns that the bus is about to explode, he and Rin begin rescuing their classmates from the wreckage. During the rescue efforts, they discover that Kyousuke is using his own body to stop the gas from leaking further, thereby preventing a more catastrophic outcome for the group.
