Homura Suzuko has relocated to Ikebukuro, the town where she was raised. She faces difficulties reintegrating into the community after a prolonged absence, though she remains hopeful about reconnecting with her former friend Morikawa Chinatsu. Upon observing other girls engaging with the popular card game WIXOSS, Homura decides to learn the rules herself, aiming to expand her social circle and make new acquaintances. However, her experience takes a dark turn when she brings her deck home. One of the cards begins to communicate with her, revealing that she has been pulled into a dangerous contest with potentially lethal consequences.
