Chinatsu is an unlucky hard-working student trying to afford her expensive private school. Her situation worsens when she becomes involved in the WIXOSS game. Facing stress and the threat of annihilation, she loses control and attacks a classmate. Her only motivation to continue is her wish to be a good role model for her old friend Suzuko, but this resolve is beginning to fade under the pressure of her circumstances.
