A solid gold Sleeping Lion statue is being moved to a museum in an armored vehicle to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Australia's independence. Lupin III successfully hijacks the car and the statue from the Sydney Police. However, he soon finds Inspector Zenigata inside the vehicle, suffering from near asphyxiation.
