Lupin III: Seven Days Rhapsody

Lupin and Jigen intend to steal a large sum of money from a racetrack in New York. Their plan is nearly complete, requiring only a six-day wait. To mark the occasion, they travel to a town, where Lupin separates from Jigen due to another commitment. He intervenes when a girl named Michelle is pursued by questionable men. She pleads with Lupin to steal a diamond from her father to prevent him from engaging in harmful activities. Lupin sees an opportunity to obtain both the money and the diamond in six days and agrees to protect Michelle during that time. Meanwhile, Jigen meets an old comrade, Ryatte, and discusses potential business. He plans to spend the next six days with Ryatte before rejoining Lupin. Separately, Fujiko and Goemon are preparing to steal a diamond from an exhibition, hosted by an unnamed individual.
