A racing car called The Mach is equipped with an experimental engine "X" designed by Kenich Hibiki, who was both a driver and an engineer. During a test run, Kenich was killed in an accident. His father, Daisuke, retrieved the wrecked car as a keepsake. Years later, he restored it, and it reemerges as a new version of The Mach. This updated model includes a safety system known as "Safety Seven," featuring seven protective mechanisms, and retains the surviving engine "X." The car is now driven by Go, Kenich's younger brother, who aims to honor his sibling's legacy. Go enters the Grand Prix and steadily progresses toward becoming a leading racer.
