Henriette confesses to Raishin that she allowed the automaton attacking the Price of Wales to go rogue, revealing she attempted suicide to spare Charlotte a burden. Sigmund pleads with Charlotte to halt the assassination, but Raishin intervenes, arguing that killing Rutherford destroys her hope of restoring her family's status. Disagreeing with Raishin, Sigmund and Yaya engage in combat. Raishin removes Charlotte from Sigmund and successfully persuades her to abandon the plot. Shin then arrives, identifying himself as a divine Machine-Doll capable of operating without a puppeteer supplying magic.
