Ep. 9: Alibaba arrives at Reim seeking training but faces rejection and a dangerous beast fight.

After losing everything during his journey, a starving Alibaba reaches the Reim Empire colosseum to study under the Yambala Gladiators. Toto, a gladiator, denies him an audience with her leader after defeating him, but the Nando Brothers, former Fog Troupe members who run a casino, provide shelter. Upon recovering, Alibaba challenges Toto again and wins by removing her armor without injury. He then meets Shambal Ramal, who reveals that Alibaba’s body contains two conflicting types of Magoi. Shambal warns that failure to control both will prevent Djinn Equip mastery and cause death. Shambal agrees to teach him, but requires payment through a colosseum match against a massive beast, watched by High Priestess Sheherazade.
