Iroha travels to Kamihama City to investigate Ui's disappearance, visiting Satomi Medical Center where she finds a Witch's labyrinth. She meets magical girls Momoko Togame, Kaede Akino, and Rena Minami, who agree to assist in the search. When the group cannot access a specific wing of the hospital, they attempt to use Rena's transformation magic to enter, but this leads to a conflict between Rena and Kaede. The following day, while Kaede attempts to reconcile with Rena, she is captured by the Chain Witch. This entity targets individuals seeking reconciliation after inscribing their names on the Friendship Ending Staircase.
