Ep. 8: Hikaru and Lantis face monsters while Clef reveals Lantis' past in Cephiro.

Hikaru and Lantis defeat monsters, with Hikaru noting their strength and Lantis attributing them to fear. At the castle, Umi and Fuu question Clef about Lantis, who explains he trained both Lantis and Zagato, assigning them as captain and high priest before Lantis departed Cephiro. In the wilderness, Lantis protects Hikaru from rain, but their conversation is interrupted by a jealous Primera. A hole opens in the clouds, allowing the FTO to descend. Eagle Vision scans the area, noticing Lantis, and engages Hikaru in battle until Lantis intervenes, urging Eagle to stop and claiming the Pillar system is not almighty. Eagle knocks Hikaru unconscious and takes her away. Lantis attempts to pursue them but is stopped by Alcyone. He demands information about Lady Debonair, but Alcyone, distracted by his resemblance to Zagato, attacks him. Meanwhile, Umi and Fuu sense that Hikaru is in danger.
