The Council struggles to reconcile Tatsuya's duel victory with his exam results. Hanzo withdraws his objection after apologizing to Miyuki. Mari introduces Tatsuya to the Public Morals Committee, who welcome him despite his Course 2 status. Tetsuya learns Shun Morisaki is also joining. Tatsuya intervenes when a kenjutsu club member uses illegal magic against Sayaka Mibu. He arrests the offender but faces assault from club members who reject his authority as a Weed.
