Following the entrance ceremony, intense club recruitment begins, leading to a standoff between the Robot Research Club and Motorcycle Club over a single freshman. Kasumi of the Disciplinary Committee and Shippou of the Extracurricular Activities Federation arrive to stop the conflict. Instead of resolving the dispute, the two officials begin arguing over jurisdiction, nearly coming to blows. Concurrently, Koichi, leader of the Saegusa Family, is formulating a strategy to weaken the Yotsuba Family. He intends to utilize a false anti-magician campaign being prepared by the USNA's Humanist Extremist group for media consumption to achieve this political objective.
