Mirai and Riko seek the Headmaster regarding Ha-chan and discover a rumor about a magic door hidden in a tree. They proceed to investigate, encountering living branches and giant caterpillars along the way. Upon reaching the door, they are attacked by Batty, who utilizes combined powers from Spalda and Gamets' wands to transform into a stronger form. Ha-chan summons power from the Linkle Smarthon, gaining the forest's support to help the Cures defeat Batty. After obtaining an Amethyst Linkle Stone and consuming its fruit, Ha-chan sleeps inside the Linkle Smarthon, which subsequently unlocks the magic door for the girls.
